We are pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Tye to the Chillisoft board. Justin brings deep expertise in business operations, organizational design, and strategic growth. With a distinguished 38-year career in the IT industry—including leadership roles at HP and various IT distribution firms — Justin brings deep expertise in business operations, organizational design, and strategic growth.

As the founder of Exeed in 2002, Justin successfully scaled the company before its acquisition by Dicker Data in 2021. He has gained extensive experience in IT distribution across New Zealand and Australia. Now, he aims to leverage that expertise to help accelerate Chillisoft’s expansion in the Australian market and maintain growth in New Zealand and the Pacific.

About Justin Tye

Justin Tye, is a seasoned business leader, currently serving as a director of Mitigate Limited. He is experienced in organisational design and growth strategy.  Justin has previously held leadership positions at HP, Dicker Data and as a co-founder of Exeed, a startup which grew to become NZ’s second largest IT distributor.  Justin is particularly interested in the development and success of NZ companies, sound corporate governance, customer service excellence, operational efficiency and equal opportunity.  He earned a B.com from Otago University and an exec MBA from Insead. Justin was inducted into the NZ IT hall of Fame in 2017.
