Hosted at Remuera Golf Club’s state of the art Velocity Range, Hit ‘Fore’ Cybersecurity was a day of golf and cybersecurity! With delicious food and refreshments guests were also treated to exciting news and announcements from Mimecast, Netskope, Imperva and ESET. With hot off the press news and insights into the latest cybersecurity defense systems, guests also enjoyed plenty of social time as we took thousands of golf swings! In June 2024, Mimecast announced it’s first MSSP contract in APAC for New Zealand in partnership with Chillisoft. This landmark contract underscores Mimecast’s channel-first strategy, recognizing New Zealand’s MSSP market as a robust and mature sector that serves 95% of the country’s SMB market. The contract includes a comprehensive suite of Mimecast products, such as Email Security, Awareness Training, and DMARC Management, offering a more extensive solution set than any competitor in the market.
This robust offering is designed to help organizations bolster their cybersecurity posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape. One of the key features of the new solution is its multi-tenanted architecture, providing scalability and efficiency for managed service providers. Additionally, the solution includes flexible monthly billing options, making it an attractive proposition for partners looking to offer top-tier security services without the burden of annual contracts. MIMECAST PRESIDENTS WINTER EXPERIENCE
Between 2022 and 2023, Mimecast along with Chillisoft hosted the ‘Mimecast Megadrive‘ sales promotion. Rachel Thompson - Mimecast MSP Partner Manager, Emerging Technologies
Joining Mimecast in 2019, Rachel spent the first 5 years as an MSP Channel Account Manager, working with the entire breadth of the UKI MSP partner ecosystem and forging key relationships within these strategic partnerships. With the launch of the Cloud Integrated, it was clear that this was a must-have solution for MSP’s, with the ease of deployment and simple administration, allowing our partners to focus on larger projects whilst knowing their customers’ were protected by best-in-breed email security. With this in mind, Rachel moved into the newly formed Emerging Technologies team, focusing on driving Cloud Integrated adoption and growth through the Global MSP partner program.
Josh Gardner - Mimecast Channel Account Manager - Distribution
Joshua Gardner has over 20 years’ experience across the channel ecosystem with a background in cybersecurity, network infrastructure and cloud, built from roles across vendors, distribution and partners. Currently serving as Distribution Manager at Mimecast for ANZ, Joshua is responsible for managing distribution channels, leveraging his expertise to drive channel growth and development across the partner ecosystem.
