Chillisoft Presents - HIT 'FORE' CYBERSECURITY

Hosted at Remuera Golf Club’s state of the art Velocity Range, Hit ‘Fore’ Cybersecurity was a day of golf and cybersecurity!  With delicious food and refreshments guests were also treated to exciting news and announcements from Mimecast, Netskope, Imperva and ESET. With hot off the press news and insights into the latest cybersecurity defense systems, guests also enjoyed plenty of social time as we took thousands of golf swings! Adding to the atmosphere, we had contest prizes and a whole lot of big hits! If you missed the event or would like a recap, please see the video below. MSSP Announcement

At the event, you’ll hear from Rachel Thompson, Mimecast MSP Partner Manager (Emerging Technologies) as she speaks on ‘Why MSP’s choose Mimecast as part of their Cyber Security stack’. 

In June 2024, Mimecast announced it’s first MSSP contract in APAC for New Zealand in partnership with Chillisoft. This landmark contract underscores Mimecast’s channel-first strategy, recognizing New Zealand’s MSSP market as a robust and mature sector that serves 95% of the country’s SMB market.  The contract includes a comprehensive suite of Mimecast products, such as Email Security, Awareness Training, and DMARC Management, offering a more extensive solution set than any competitor in the market.

This robust offering is designed to help organizations bolster their cybersecurity posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape. One of the key features of the new solution is its multi-tenanted architecture, providing scalability and efficiency for managed service providers. MIMECAST PRESIDENTS WINTER EXPERIENCE

Between 2022 and 2023, Mimecast along with Chillisoft hosted the Mimecast Megadrive sales promotion. Activities like deal registrations and renewals awarded points which put people on the scoreboard as they competed for motor-themed prizes, with the grand prize being a trip to the F1GP In Melbourne Australia! Along the way, those with points also got to enjoy other activities like go-karting! For the 2024-2025 season, Mimecast are bringing you a whole new promotion – the Mimecast President’s Winter Experience! Joining Mimecast in 2019, Rachel spent the first 5 years as an MSP Channel Account Manager, working with the entire breadth of the UKI MSP partner ecosystem and forging key relationships within these strategic partnerships. With the launch of the Cloud Integrated, it was clear that this was a must-have solution for MSP’s, with the ease of deployment and simple administration, allowing our partners to focus on larger projects whilst knowing their customers’ were protected by best-in-breed email security. Lukesh holds certifications as a Netskope, ESET, and LogRhythm Certified Engineer, as well as being a certified ESET and LogRhythm Trainer. Notably, Lukesh has conducted 43 successful trainings across New Zealand!

Entertainment

Have a hit on the private driving range! 
Aside from our private bar and delicious foods, there were lots of free hit bays open during the networking sessions so guests could enjoy some friendly casual golfing with industry peers. We also had a couple of contests where you can win some neat prizes!  
On the golf front, a special ‘Foreeee’ goes out to Anthony Hannah who took out 1st place in our longest hit contest, followed closely by Barrie Griffiths and Troy Stodart in 2nd and 3rd place!

The first place prize was a 1-on-1 session at Remuera Golf Club with a local golf pro. The second place prize was a group bay hire, accompanied by a Chillisoft ‘golf pro’ and the third place prize was a $100 voucher for the Remuera Golf Club gift shop! All participants also scored some sweet swag including golf balls from ESET, Mimecast, Imperva and Netskope! 

Closest to the Pin

Longest Drive
Who can hit the farthest? It’s as simple as that. This game lets guests settle the argument once and for all by turning the range into a proper long drive grid.
