How do I know I have the latest ESET software?
Generally, ESET automatically updates. To check this manually, you can open the program and click the update button, then – check for updates. This will update you to the newest version. See a guide with images here.
What someone is credit card harvesting and uses a domain name similar to a credible company/business - how can your system protect against this when you go to the website, believing it is legit?
Credit card harvesting is definitely scary. As a first line of defense, make sure your Internet Protection is enabled. This will include web access protection, which detects and blocks websites known for malicious content. For extra protection, ESET provides a feature called banking and Payment protection.

Is iPhone included for mobile yet?
iOS and iPadOS is not included. This is because of how Apple does its security. There is no other security vendor that does an Anti-virus for it either.
I currently have ESET Cyber Security and only use apple devices. Are these new updates useful for a 100% apple user?
The password manager and VPN are the main modules that we find are exciting for Mac users – you can upgrade to Premium or Ultimate and use those features on your Mac.
Can I import from other password managers?
Yes you can, we have tested it with the most common ones out there.
Does your VPN have split-tunneling features?

Once released, will folder guard protect cloud based storage like onedrive and dropbox?
If you are syncing Dropbox to your PC, then yes it will be able to protect that folder as ultimately it is just a folder on a PC. What it wouldn’t be able to do is to protect someone logging into Dropbox directly if your credentials are compromised.

If using a VPN on an unsecure Wi-fi site, will ESET still show that the site site is unsecure
ESET will still initially pop up saying the network isn’t secure as the connection to the network must be made first before the VPN is connected. Once connected though you can be confident your data is encrypted and can’t be intercepted in-transit.
