The Mimecast Megadrive Finish!
From December 1st, 2022, points were gained through various efforts as contestants raced their way to the top of the leaderboard. This was a big endurance race with lots of twists and turns! Celebrating the launch of Mimecast Email Security, Cloud Integrated we invited partners for a day of go-karting at Blast Cars! We had some great battles and a full on day of pedal to the metal drifting! Check out the day recap below! The Mimecast Megadrive included lots of action but despite a field of fierce contenders, it had to come down to the top three!

A massive congratulations to the Mimecast Megadrive winner, Shailesh Sharma from Viti Technology Solutions taking out first place and speeding their way to the 2024 Melbourne F1 GP!
A big congratulations also goes out to the second and third place winners who won a Playstation 5 and v8 driving experience! – In second place we have James Buchanan from Concepts and not far off in third place, Sophie Dennis from Datacom!
We also have to again congratulate our winners from the Mimecast Megadrive Go-Kart day, in first place we had Jarred Hogan who drifted his way into a v8 Driving experience at Hampton Downs Race track! In second place Paul Andrews was awarded a kick-ass Lego F1 Kit and in 3rd place taking home an F1 Carrera Go slot set was Tony Johnson!

GO-KART RACE
To celebrate the release of Mimecast Email Security, Cloud Integrated, Mimecast invited people to go head to head and race on one of the countries most popular and talked about go-kart tracks, West Auckland’s BlastaCars! The track is an exciting 220 meter indoor track which encourages fast drifting! We had some great battles with Jarred Hogan from Lucidity Cloud Services taking out 1st place! On his heels were Paul Andrews and Tony Johnson!
The winner of the Go-Kart racing earned themselves a v8 Muscle Car Driving Experience at New Zealand’s hottest race track, Hampton Downs! The touch choice will be picking between putting themselves behind the wheel of the Mustang or the Chevrolet Camaro. Jarred will also be guided and get racing tips n tricks from a pro driver joining him in the passenger seat, as they show him the race lines and help increase his speed… and adrenaline! – Oh and we’ll be there to get some great footage!
