From the 1st of May, ESET has moved to a subscription model.

ESET is also ending separate, individual platform products (PC, server, mobile, etc), and introducing what they call “bundles”, which are effectively a unilicence that can be used on any platform. Pricing per licence is very close to the previous workstation pricing. The new product bundles include ESET Entry and Essentials On Prem, both with on-cloud equivalents at no added cost! 

Please note, from approximately the 1st of May 2023, BusEdn single SKU’s will end.

New customers should now purchase “ESET PROTECT ESSENTIALS” or “ESET PROTECT ENTRY”. Renewals will be moved to equivalent offerings with discounts as needed.

PRICING CHANGES HIGHLIGHTS FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

– Cheaper for new customers to purchase ESET
– Cloud First (Price for on-premise products will be the same as cloud)
– Simplified pricelist 
– Most customers will only go through a simple “product name change” 
– Current customers will not experience significantly negative changes
– EOL of single SKU’s in favor of Uni license bundled SKU’s 
– Subscription licenses means there is no price difference between new and renewal

PRICING CHANGES HIGHLIGHTS FOR CONSUMER

– It will now be a lot cheaper to become a new ESET consumer customer 
– In most instances, existing customers will be pay approximately the same price 
– Multi device packs are end of life.
Existing customers will get a deal code equating to around the same price point 
– Existing single license EIS customers should contact Chillisoft for a deal code.

ESET PROTECT ENTRY 
Replaces “ESET Endpoint Security”

from consoles. ESET Protect Essentials allows deployment and management of ESET on endpoint types. ESET Protect Entry empowers enhanced deployment and management of ESET Anti-Virus on workstation, server, and mobile endpoints. 

Cloud first! 
As part of ESET’s cloud first strategy, ESET Protect is cloud based at no additional costs, making migrating to cloud an easier commercial decision. Please contact us for info on ESET Protect Essentials / Entry On Prem if cloud based solutions are not suitable for your needs.
